Q: What’s the first thing you think of when you look back at how far you’ve come?
A: God’s plan for me is bigger than I could’ve ever imagined.
Q: What do you remember about your very first photoshoot?
A: I was very nervous and guarded. I was fresh out of federal prison.
Q: Getting started in a new world like that isn’t easy — how did you find your way?
A: God strategically put the most incredible people in my life to help me navigate.
Q: When did it all start to feel real?
A: When released from federal prison and Jim Jordan had a camera crew.
Q: How did it feel the first time you saw yourself in a campaign or on a runway?
A: Very surreal…. Hard to explain honestly.
Q: Was it hard to get used to being recognized?
A: Not at all, I embrace it. I love connecting with people.
Q: What drew you to acting?
A: The process of character building taught to me by my acting coach Max Decker.
Q: What’s a day in your life like?
A: It varies. I’m a homebody so I wake up, drink coffee, go to the gym, study, and I try to stay present.
Q: What does a perfect day off look like for you?
A: I love to be outside in nature or at the beach.
Q: How do you stay focused and grounded when things get hectic?
A: Prayer!!!!!!!!!!
Q: Has your idea of success changed over the years?
A: I’m definitely done chasing money. Creating moments and memories with my family is the most important thing to me.
Q: What’s something people don’t know about you?
A: I’m extremely shy.
Q: What do you hope people see when they look past the surface?
A: It’s not what they’ll see. It’s what they’ll feel and that’s God’s presence because he’s with me everywhere I go.
Q: What are you most proud of right now?
A: The relationship my kids and I have with the Almighty creator.
Q: What’s one thing you’ve learned about yourself through all of this?
A: That I’m capable of doing anything.
Q: Is there a moment in your career that still sticks with you?
A: There are 1000 incredible moments because I’m so blessed.
Q: How do you reset when you need a break?
A: I write my intentions on a piece of paper. I set that piece of paper on fire and let it go. I have found that that is the best way for me to reset.
Q: What advice would you give your younger self?
A: Forgive and let go, give it all to God.
Q: Do you feel like you’re just getting started?
A: I’m definitely entering into a new chapter in my life.

A: So many dope things, just wait and see. But until then, stay blessed.
